Adjective and Co. is a modern branding and advertising agency headquartered in Jacksonville Beach, Florida with a satellite office in New York. It was founded in 2013 by Autumn Berrang and Taylor Harkey and specializes in brand strategy, branding and design, advertising, social media and web design/development. Notable clients include the New York Islanders, THE PLAYERS, Ascension St. Vincent’s Healthcare, Whalebone Media and ICEMULE Coolers.

Adjective and Co. is seeking super-awesome amazing interns to join the Adjective Internship Program.

This is not your standard “go fetch Starbucks” gig. We want the best, and most ambitious students (and recent grads) to help us plan global domination. We don’t want your boring cover letter, or some awful unformatted Word Doc full of “achievements” to read. We want to know you. This semester-long internship, although unpaid, provides real-world, hands-on experience from experts in the field.

What we’re looking for:

  • Undeniable passion for design/advertising/branding
  • Team player (preferably the A-team)
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet project deadlines
  • Insane standard of excellence for yourself and your work
  • Awesome portfolio (super-awesome, even)
  • Abilities with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience designing creative for digital/print/social platforms
  • Eat branding for breakfast (literally)
  • Strong (possibly unhealthy) addiction to typography
  • Uncanny attention to detail
  • Weird sense of humor
  • Desire and excitement to learn new things
