Alzheimer’s Association

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for the working with Communications Director on Chapter’s brand image and how it is reflected in all internal and external communications.
• Assisting in development efforts of all Chapter collateral materials.
• Assisting the Director with building awareness ofthe Chapter and the Association throughout the 31-county region through media story placement and other public relations techniques with the goal of measurably increasing use of Chapter services and attendance at and participation in Chapter programs and events.
• Assist in organizing Chapter’s messaging and manage consistency throughout the Chapter.
• Assist in identifying media opportunities.
• Work with Alzheimer’s communication volunteers on raising awareness and assisting in advocacy efforts.
• Assist with Alzheimer’s Association public events, fund raisers and media events
• Help adhere to Association branding standards
• Work on marketing collateral for the chapter including, but not limited to Chapter newsletters, flyers, brochures
• Assist with social media presence
• Help develop, maintain and update all media contact lists
• Seek opportunities to respond to news stories related to national or local programs, services, activities.
• Work with volunteers and assist them in communication efforts.
• Track media hits and impressions.
