As an intern, you will work closely with the marketing department to promote the K-12 school dining program in Duval County Public Schools. This internship involves gaining and understanding insights of the target market(s), planning and brainstorming, outreach and awareness efforts and implementation of retail marketing programs.


  • Assist with planning and organizing outreach events such as orientations, open house, education events and community partner events
  • Survey target audiences to collect marketing research and provide analysis of insights
  • Assist with planning and implementation of focus groups to gain insights and research industry trends and target audience behaviors to provide support to marketing and outreach strategies
  • Assist with social media messaging and calendar development
  • Assist with creating of concepts, campaigns and programs to effectively communicate with target audiences
  • Act as a brand representative for Chartwells K12 in Duval County.
