Florida Theatre

The Florida Theatre is a nonprofit organization designed to enhance the North Florida community’s quality of life by providing diverse and memorable arts and entertainment experiences, and by preserving a unique historic Jacksonville landmark. The Florida Theatre’s vision is to be the most welcoming venue in the North Florida community providing memorable experiences for its audiences and artists.

Duties:

  • Writing content for special events and membership, the young professionals group, and other materials as needed
  • Writing marketing content for special events, membership, and young professionals group
  • Assiting with planning and logistics for Theatre special events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • High level of organization and ability to multi-task in fast paced environments
  • Passionate about the arts and entertainment
  • Team player with a positive, professional, can-do attitude
