Superior Construction, a family-owned construction company, is looking for a communication intern who is self-motivated and ready to learn. The intern in this position will learn how to navigate the ever-changing communications field and will be ready to use skills learned at Superior in their upcoming career. Applicants for this position must display excellent communication skills, creativity and a positive attitude towards learning new things.

Responsibilities:

  • Help manage social media post
  • Come up with a weekly post idea
  • Garner users to follow/like all social media platforms
  • Assist in planning, writing and managing employee newsletter
  • Pitch news releases, media alerts and other stories
  • Designing flyers and graphics for social media and events held by Superior
  • Contribute ideas to the website redesign
  • Work on the Team Building Committee planning and executing monthly events
  • Assist in creating, producing and editing video content for the website
  • Set up and attend events and fairs the company hosts
  • Help with any projects that may arise
