Brunet-García Design Internship

A Brunet-García Design Internship offers an opportunity to work side-by-side with an award-winning design team in the San Marco neighborhood of Jacksonville. We are passionate about our world and our work so we are always working to create, develop, and sustain brands that enrich our lives and inspire meaningful change. We work mainly in the areas of healthcare, human services, transportation, education, and the arts.

Our creative team is small and nimble so interns will be assigned real-world design from day one. We work hard to give our interns experience and portfolio samples in the areas that interest them. However, interns should expect to spend most of their time working on various print projects under the direction of a senior creative. Design interns are expected to have:

• strong conceptual and typography skills
• time-management, attention-to-detail, and a drive to do great work
• substantial experience in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• skills in web design, illustration, copywriting, motion graphics or photography are a plus

Design portfolio is required for application. Scheduling is flexible but candidates should be available at minimum 12 hours a week. This is an unpaid internship so candidates should be looking college credit and/or real-world studio production experience to enhance their skill set. We look forward to meeting you!
