Spinnaker

 

The mission of the Spinnaker Media is to provide the university community with news, entertainment, and a forum for the exchange of ideas, while also providing an educational learning environment for students. Through the production of various mass media outlets, students gain practical experience in news gathering and the dissemination, management, production, promotion, advertising, and business aspects of the industry.

To that end, Spinnaker Media wishes to make itself available to the Department of Communication as an internship site, where interns will be able to gain valuable hands· on experience while furthering their education.

Spinnaker Media has five departments: Spinnaker Business, Spinnaker News, Spinnaker Radio, Spinnaker Creative Services Department and Spinnaker TV. Each department offers anywhere from four to 10 different types of positions. A bullet-point description for each position can be shared as each candidate applies for a position.

The Spinnaker internship is an unpaid internship.
