This site is listed as a Home-Based Remote Internship which means the organization is run from a private residence. Even though this site and supervisor(s) have been approved by the School of Communication, students must first contact the School’s internship coordinator (Prof. Bobbi Doggett at rdoggett@unf.edu) to obtain the appropriate application form. As with all Home-Based Remote Internships, the students must understand that they cannot, under any circumstances, go to the property or home of the internship supervisor. Any face-to-face interaction MUST be done in a public location.

CloudMellow, formerly SharedLABS, is a software and technology services company specializing in digital, web, cloud, and security solutions, with about 500 commercial enterprise and government customers. The company serves a national client base providing advertising and marketing services including website design and development, search engine marketing, social media management, ecommerce development, reputation management, mobile app development, brand strategies, creative development and production services.

Advertising Intern:

• Interns benefit from hands-on, real world experience working directly with CloudMellow Web & Digital Services leadership and staff and will be active participants gaining exposure to a variety of roles and processes.
• Must have strong written and verbal skills, be flexible and proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities, have good organization skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a willingness to learn

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Account coordinator and administrative duties
• Participation in creative brainstorming sessions as well as client and staff meetings
• Organization of press release outlets, media lists, community calendars
• Research market and industry trends as well as client opportunities in the community and online
• Assist with social media accounts
• Assist with content writing for blogs, social, web, press releases, etc.
• Assist in other areas of student’s particular strengths, such as photography, etc.
