UNF Athletics (Marketing)

The University of North Florida Athletics Marketing Department oversees the creation and execution of all promotional plans for all Division I sports teams. Our department strives to promote and advertise our teams to our campus, alumni, donors, sponsors, and the entire Jacksonville community. Our department is also in charge of the following: selling corporate partnership fulfillment, producing, and creating our game day atmosphere at all home events, managing Osprey Nation Student Reward App, managing social media accounts for our teams, designing print and digital promotional materials , and attending select campus and community events.

Internship Duties will include:

• Assist with planning, development, and coordination of marketing, promotional, and fan experience efforts for all 19 sports.
• Complete at least one assigned special project, to culminate with a presentation to the athletic marketing staff, as well as potential execution of the project, dependent upon date and completion of internship, these projects include things such as program enhancements and upgrades, osprey nation membership drives, promotional campaigns, social media strategies and in-game marketing efforts.
• Work university and community events to promote UNF Athletics.
• Attend scheduled weekly intern staff meetings and optional intern development events.
• Distribute posters, flyers, and schedule cards to assigned locations.
• Develop promotional plans and fan experience elements for sports as needed and assigned.
• Assist with sponsorship fulfillment, and in-game promotions.
• Advertise events and communicate promotions within Residence halls, Greek Life, Student Body, etc.
• Assist with promotion and management the Osprey Nation Student Rewards App.
• Assist with the collaboration and execution of athletics and campus life partnered events.
