Flamingo Magazine

Flamingo, Florida’s only statewide lifestyle magazine and website covering food, travel, culture, conservation, outdoor pursuits, music and fascinating Floridians from the Panhandle to the Keys. Flamingo, based in Ponte Vedra Beach, is looking for smart, driven, creative fun communications interns in the greater Jacksonville area to commit to two to three days a week.

Daily assignments include:

• Researching editorial ideas
• Executing social media strategy
• Writing web copy
• Copy editing
• Fact checking
• Administrative tasks
• Learning about our great state
• Having fun!

There will be opportunities to contribute to the print edition of Flamingo as well and have your name included on the masthead. Candidates must have strong writing skills, be versed in AP Style, understand social media platforms, have a passion for the state of Florida, be willing to learn all aspects of magazine publishing and have a positive attitude.
