Clara White Mission

For over 113 years, the Clara White Mission have helped Jacksonville’s homeless veterans and low-income gain new perspectives on life. The Mission’s one-stop community development center restores lives through their daily meals, job  training in culinary arts/janitorial services and electrical, employment placement, health care services, substance abuse treatment, case management, life skills, drop-in center, housing initiatives, a museum and more.

Responsibilities:

The duties listed below are intended to describe the general tasks of the internship. Additional duties may be added on an as needed basis.

• Update and maintain Clara White Mission/White Harvest Farm social media presence, including scheduling Facebook updates
• Assist in planning, writing, and managing monthly eNewsletters
• Draft, distribute, and pitch news releases, media alerts and other stories
• Design flyers, graphics, e-vites, and other marketing material for major events hosted by Clara White Mission
• Update the Clara White Mission website when needed
