UNF Marketing and Communications Office (Marketing)
UNF Marketing is responsible for promoting and protecting the University’s brand to ensure a strong and consistent identity with its stakeholders – both internal and external. UNF Marketing assists units throughout the university with their marketing efforts through graphic design, photography, videography, and the production and/or editing of high-quality communications. Marketing and Communications is located in Alumni Hall, Building 60.
Internship Duties:
- Writing and editing for various UNF publications including the UNF Journal alumni magazine, the monthly Inside faculty and staff e-newsletter and UNF Arts, Culture & Life, a monthly events e-communication
- Editing various university publications for AP style, design, content and branding
- Photography – acting as the back-up University photographer
- Videography – possible assignments to film and/or create short videos
- Developing content for the Marketing webpages and updating pages in the content management system.
- Developing e-newsletters in CMS and Emma, an email marketing platform used by UNF
- Assisting with the management of photos in the digital photo archive – including uploading, cataloging and tagging photos with appropriate metadata
- Assisting with other marketing and communications activities as needed
