Job Summary

Borland Groover is seeking a motivated and talented communication intern with experience in digital social media and website development. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our healthcare organization’s marketing initiatives, enhance our online presence, and engage with our target audience through digital platforms. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in healthcare marketing and will provide you with the skills necessary to excel in this rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing strategies and campaigns targeted at promoting our healthcare services, programs and initiatives.
  • Create and curate engaging and informative content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, while adhering to healthcare regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage social media accounts by scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring engagement, responding to comments, and addressing inquiries or concerns from the audience.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, healthcare topics, and target audience preferences to identify opportunities for content creation and optimization on social media platforms.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the organization’s website, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, user-friendly navigation, and compliance with healthcare industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and IT teams to optimize website functionality, user experience, and search engine visibility.
  • Support the implementation of search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Monitor website analytics using tools like Google Analytics to track key performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns, including content development, subscriber management, and performance analysis.
  • Stay up to date with the latest healthcare industry trends, regulatory requirements, and digital marketing best practices.
