The Sontag Foundation

The Sontag Foundation, a private nonprofit organization in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, is committed to eradicating brain cancer and helping as many people as possible navigate a brain tumor diagnosis, overcome treatment obstacles, and facilitate access to quality healthcare across their entire brain tumor journey. The Sontag Foundation is recognized as one of the largest private funders of brain cancer research in North America.

The Foundation is looking for a smart, solution-oriented, ambitious, creative, and fun intern. The student will work alongside our tight-knit team while doing meaningful work that contributes to our mission. You’ll work on projects with specific, measurable goals. And you will receive honest feedback to help you grow and learn.

Potential projects that the student may work on include:

  • Assisting with the marketing, planning and execution of a large-scale national convening of prominent brain tumor organizations hosted annually in Ponte Vedra Beach.
  • Assisting with marketing, planning, and the execution of the Foundation’s annual scientific meeting, which regularly brings more than 100 national luminaries together to discuss cutting edge ideas to solve brain cancer.
  • Assisting with the development of marketing materials for national trade shows, roundtables, and scientific events.
  • Assisting with social, digital marketing and branding strategies in support of ongoing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Internship is office-based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida (816 A1A North, Suite 201 Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.)
  • Student must have a personal laptop computer or tablet.
