City of Jacksonville Film & Television Office, a Division of Economic Development
The City of Jacksonville’s Film & Television Office serves to attract film, television, commercial, digital media productions to the area; markets and creates opportunities that drive economic impact; streamlines the permit process; and improves engagement for visiting and local businesses. Jacksonville permits and assists hundreds of various productions each year making Northeast Florida a premier location for production. The Film & Television Office is a division of the City of Jacksonville Office of Economic Development.
Candidates must have strong writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Candidates must be able to multi-task in a face-paced environment. Applicants should be highly organized with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop a marketing plan to promote upcoming event to target markets
- Write and edit for social media posts and copy for Instagram, Facebook and X
- Assist in researching and responding to production leads from potential clients
- Formulate and initiate a social media campaign to promote various events, as well as maintain social engagement metrics
- Assist in the development and the coordinating of marketing communications materials
- Organize and maintain digital location photo files and web content
- Assist in coordination and marketing of local industry events.
