We are a logistics solutions company located in the Riverside are of Jacksonville. We are looking for interns with an interest in PR and communications. The ideal intern is web/computer savvy and a social media fanatic who is informed about news and the blogosphere, has a creative mind and is able to thrive in a fun, yet deadline-driven environment.

Required:

Knowledge/background in social media and online marketing and “computer savvy.”

Creative, logical and can “think outside of the box.”

Strong communication skills and excellent organizational skills

Comfortable interacting with editors, publicists and marketing executives

Understand the analytical side of social media

Detailed oriented

Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, web design or programming languages is a plus.

Tasks:

Assist in research, development and curation of content ideas as needed.
Assist in monitoring social media campaigns and strategies across a wide range of niches and industries.
Assist in maintaining in-house social media channels (Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube) and actively seek to increase followers and engagement.
Collaborate with Marketing and Digital Experience Director on content and consistent daily posts.
Photograph products and locations if necessary.
Edit product shots using Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Illustrator.
Assist with event coordination as necessary.
Track and clip editorial placement.
Assist with blog posts to be featured on social media channels.
Provide additional support to other departments within the company.
